BENEFITS OF PRINTABLE WALL ART

In today’s digital world, a LOT of shopping is done online, and home decor is no exception. Printable wall art is a way that I like to add to my interior style without sacrificing quality or overpaying for wall art that I may want to switch out sooner rather than later.

Printable wall art is way more budget-friendly than traditional prints, paintings, and drawings.

It’s versatile, too! I can easily switch out printables to fit the season or decor style that I’m going for in my home at a certain time. Once you have the digital file, you can customize your art further by deciding what size you want for your space and how you want it framed (I like to upcycle vintage frames).

Even digital art takes time and talent to design and put into reality, whether it’s an original graphic art design or a recreation of a classic. Purchasing from Etsy shop owners means you get unique and custom items while supporting small businesses!

WHERE TO FIND THE BEST PRINTABLE WALL ART

Etsy is my go-to for a lot of my home decor since items are handmade or personally designed. I love the idea of supporting small business owners and artists. Plus, unlike shopping in a store with limited options, I can pinpoint EXACTLY what I want with the Etsy search feature.

There’s a shop for every style, but most of the ones I chose below offer prints with vintage aesthetics.

And we all know how I love some vintage style.

Some of these shops offer digital downloads while others have the option to print and ship them for you, so you can choose the size and finish. Some offer original vintage designs while others have refitted classic works of art to fit modern-size frames.

Hernes Oak

Hernes Oak is a five-star shop that offers tons of vintage prints – a lot of them have a spooky, gothic vibe, which I’m excited about for upcoming Halloween decor! This Vintage Tiger Print is one of many animal prints in the shop but is my favorite since the muted colors and the tiger’s resting pose give it a peaceful vibe.

Grasshopper Prints

Does anyone else dream of having a floor-to-ceiling library in their home, or is it just me? I’m still working on the home library, but this vintage Library Print gives that English Country feel that I love! You can even see the detail from the brush strokes from the original oil painting. Grasshopper Prints offers a variety of curated prints, including landscapes, portraits, botanical, and coastal themes.

Touch of Vintage Prints

If you like multiple prints with the same theme but have trouble mixing and matching, Touch of Vintage Prints can help you out with their gallery prints. This Southwest Gallery is a set of ten 19th-century prints with the same rustic theme. Each digital file contains multiple width-to-height ratios for each image so you can customize your gallery wall to fit the frames you want. They also have plenty of solo prints!

Olive and Oak Prints

Olive and Oak Prints has a multitude of vintage prints and gallery sets, but the unique thing about them is that you can choose the traditional digital download or pay to have your item printed and shipped to you. You can pick the material and size of the print, which is a great option for people who may not want to go through a printing store for this.

My favorite piece from Olive and Oak is this 19th century Moody Seascape Print. I love the contrast of the rich blue waters against the clouds, and the detail of the giant ship!

Greenhouse Hotel

Greenhouse Hotel is an online print shop with a lot of variety – including textile, Americana, and mid-century theme prints. This American Textile Gallery Set has 9 fabric patterns that coordinate beautifully. Greenhouse Hotel will also work with you to get custom sizes and colors, so shoot them a message!

Vibrant Vintage Prints

Vibrant Vintage Prints has a lot of eclectic pieces, like this Matisse Gold Fish print. If you like vibrant, funky colors, you have a lot of options to choose from in this shop! There’s also a great assortment of poster art and gallery sets.

Bozz Prints

Bozz Prints offers digital art with a killer retro vibe! If you’re looking for art with a specific city, national park, or famous landmark as it’s focus, you’ll likely find it here – like this vintage-style print of the Garden of the Gods. Bozz Prints also puts their designs on shirts, mugs, keychains, and puzzles, which make great gifts!

Driftless Country

I’m a little crazy about mushroom art – if you didn’t see them sprinkled throughout my son’s Forest Theme Nursery, check it out!

So, it’s no wonder that this Vintage Mushroom Gallery set was my favorite digital download from Driftless Country. They also offer a lot of landscape, wildlife, and seascape pieces, so if you like to bring the outdoors into your home decor, give them a look!

Old Oak Prints

Old Oak Prints is unique because in addition to traditional landscapes and portraits, they offer a wide selection of black-and-white sketches and tapestry art. I love that their gallery sets use all a mix of sketches, patterns, landscapes, and portraits, like this Red Vintage Aesthetic Gallery Set. It’s a great variety of patterns and subject matter while keeping with the vintage red theme!
