Here’s how I used spooky Halloween decorations to create a creepy and fun vignette for my entryway. These simple and budget-friendly items blend together for the perfect haunted scene!
Happy Halloween!
This is my almost-favorite time of year (second only to Christmas). Sweater weather, pumpkin carving, and spooky parties are where it’s at! This year, I tried to get in the spirit early with indoor and outdoor decorations, including these decorations for my Halloween entryway.

SPOOKY HALLOWEEN DECORATION SOURCE LIST
Here’s my source list if you’re trying to go for the same spooky but budget-friendly look:
- Plastic bats
- “Happy Halloween” sign
- Posable skeletons
- “Hocus Pocus Apothecary” wall decor
- Gold skull (mine sold out quickly but this one is very similar)
- Gold owl (again, this one is similar)
- Black Halloween mesh
- Black LED tea candles
MY HALLOWEEN DECOR
My favorite part is definitely the bats – this set came with three different shapes and sizes and I had plenty of bats left over for other areas. I also really like how they were shiny on one side but had a matte finish on the other so you could choose which works best for your wall. The wings bend to create a 3D look.
The gold skull and gold owl give a little more color but also pair nicely with the black and orange.
And these posable skeletons were a steal at only $15 at Dollar General (I saw comparable ones for $40+ at other stores).
Wishing everyone a safe and happy Halloween! I have another post on Spooky Halloween Mantle Decor, so check it out if you like dark and macabre decorations with a vintage twist!
